Summer break! Yeeee haaa!

Yesterday I had the last exam of the second year of Communication. I'm so glad that studying is put on hold for just a few weeks. Summer break! I still have to receive all of the grades, both exams as reports and presentations, but I expect to get enough points to proceed in the third year, where I will begin with a minor Journalism. I am very excited to start with it, but first a few weeks to take it easy, relaxing, doing a bit of work, enjoying my animals, house and doing things I had no time for. At the end of July I'm going to Scheveningen with my girlfriends for a vacation! I am feeling a day of holiday shopping is necessary, hihi!

Shopping: Prints, shorts, skirts, shoes

I did some shopping lately, especially for the summer! I traveled to Hoofddorp to shop at the Primark, because I didn't have a huge budget, hihi! But the Primark wasn't what I expected, even the basics weren't that great, and I love basics. We went to Zara were I saw so many lovely things I couldn't choose, the New Yorker, Vero Moda and H&M, but it was a bit disappointing. Luckily my H&M sale order came the next day with my new wedges! So at the end of the week I was a still a very happy girl! Hihi..

The last mile is the longest one

I was a little absent the last few weeks, but the stress surrounding the final weeks of school have completely floored me. In these last two weeks it seems like teachers think of all sorts of extra things to add at their regular classes. Do you recognize that? The first five weeks of the semester you are going relaxed to school, doing some classes, a bit homework and then suddenly, bam, too little time for anything. I am now studying for the last two exams this year and then I will sleep for about five days I think, with all this rain, (in June for Christ sake!)  I would enjoy nothing more than that.. Or will the sun shine when my holiday begins?

Lovely couple: Sylvie and Rafael on vacation

I'm very jealous of these two people when I look at the photo's of there holiday at St. Tropez. Sylvie and Rafael van der Vaart are still happily together after 7 years of marriage. They are kissing, lauging, cuddling and enjoying their time with eachother. After some difficult years with Sylvie's illness, they are doing well, both personally and business level (aside from our EK-disaster, hihi). Hope they live happily ever after with their beautiful son Damian!

We doesn't want this booties?!

 These booties are standing on top of my wishlist for the moment! I, the always basic one, would choose the black ones, but these beauties are also available in red, green, orange and blue. Perfect for a cold summerday or you are already prepared for the fall.

Hope I can get them next month, I really want them in by closet!

Photodiary: Kittens!

Hello, lovely readers! Today some news from my side, my sweet cat Jony started delivering yesterday at 11.00 PM and tonight at 05.00 AM the first little kitten came out! The orange one in the left on the photo below, he/she came with some struggle but the two colored/black ones come on the world with no problems and mothers strength only. I'm so proud of her! They are all drinking the entire morning, hope they will be healthy and grow fast! Keep you posted!

New in: Winning Ways Dress!

I've got him! The dress was sold out on the Supertrash site, but at our local AH supermarket they still had a few pieces so I bought one immediately. I also got one for my sweet friend Annie, who's laying in the hospital and other lovely friend Mir, so we're set for Saturday! Netherlands-Denmark, here we come!

Tweed jackets

I didn't now they were named Tweed jackets, but I loved these jackets from the first moment I saw them, especially the pastel coloured items. Zara also is crazy about these jackets, all these items are waiting for you in the Zara shops. My own budget is not so big these last months, unfortunately I work less, but I really hope to get one for the cooler summer days. A tweed jacket makes your basic outfit look like a special one, with a simple jeans, a basic top and a pair of beautiful heels, wearing my own Tweed jacket would me me a very happy girl!
